Cheek Filler

Increase cheek volume, lift cheekbones, and smooth wrinkles with Radiesse dermal filler

About Radiesse Cheek Filler

What distinguishes Radiesse® from many other dermal fillers is its unique Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) formula. Like hyaluronic acid-based fillers, Radiesse injections provide correction immediately after they’ve been injected into the treatment area. However, as the CaHA microspheres metabolize, they stimulate collagen production. This brings both short-term results to the treatment area and long-term improvements in the way it produces collagen and functions overall. This special formula enables the results of a single injection to last for up to two years.

About The Treatment

Will the treatment hurt?

Radiesse contains pain-reducing lidocaine to help manage pain or discomfort during the injection.

What to expect

Actual treatment with Treatment with Radiesse ® can take up to 60 minutes and you will see results instantly. It is normal and very common for swelling and mild bruising to occur anywhere from 2-14 days after treatment. Detailed post care instructions will be provided at your visit. It is recommended to give yourself at least 2 weeks time before a major event or vacation prior to being injected with Radiesse injectable filler.

How long will cheek filler last?

Radiesse ® cheek filler results can last up to 2 years, with 18 months being the average.

Pre-treatment instructions

Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Motrin, Tylenol, Fish Oil, Vitamin E, Blood Thinners, St Johns Wart, and prednisone can cause a reaction to dermal filler injections. If you are prescribed any of these medications, you must be cleared by your prescribing physician to stop the medication prior to injection. If you are taking any of the medications listed above that are non-prescriptive or “over the counter” you must stop taking 7 days prior to your treatment.

Do not consume alcohol the night before your treatment.

How are fillers used for cheek enhancement?

Cheek fillers are used to build/replace volume where cheeks may have sunken over time. Cheeks may lose volume and shape as we get older and experience changes in body weight. Fillers for cheeks help to maintain an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
